Some nurses, nurse practitoners, PAs, can do good jobs, too, but they need experience. Was glad to see the shot of anesthetic/epinephrine to lessen the bleeding. Was disappointing because there did seem to be more and a doc would have cut to preserve the capsule around the cyst. Not sure this person did. And SusieQ2, your doc prob had high malpractice insurance and the fact that it was close to the eye and all kinds of things could go wrong...I can understand why he chose to not let you.
