I was up early this morning, so I muddled through some new YT vids, and lo and bee-hold – what a gem I found! This guys arm did NOT look like it was holding this much fluid! Holy cow – all seven plus minutes is totally drainage fun! And you will ask yourself – “Why doesn’t someone answer that durn cellphone!?!”

A definite good morning pick me up for the popologist nation! ~ HS

Apparently this was caused by using Creatine…is that a steroid? I would hate to be the next patient having to lay on that table.

Creatine isn’t a steroid. It is actually something that is created in our bodies. This person probably had too much and it caused some problems in the muscle tissue. My fiance has this problem (too much creatine in his body) and it causes him massive headaches and it can cause liver failure if not treated. Poor guy.

    Un-freaking-believable!

I agree, they needed a pan. They wasted a ton of those diapers.

    Thanks, Staphy!

Holy fucking shit! If they would have drained it into a pan, they could have made Nacho dip out of it. Kind of reminds me of Vanilla pudding with a little strawberry swirl??? Nice find Halph!!! Awesome.

OMG I don’t know if I’m more grossed out by the amount of puss coming out of that guys arm or the fact that he’s having to lie there in all that mess!

My GAWD people! Get a pan or a pee-pee pad or something!

I’ve got to give my face a break…my eyebrows and forehead hurts from the intense stare I was giving that video! LOL

Un fucking believable!!! Nice find there!! What I wouldn’t give though to have been there and put a pan under it then just push it all out no wiping just draining. It looked like he was almost wiping it off the bed onto the floor?? geez he could have at least put a towel under the guys arm at least. This was awesome though!!!!

Nationalized health care, anyone? ‘Cause that’s what you have to look forward to. 30 minutes after they poured a half-gallon of putrescent pudding over the exam table they probably brought in a woman to deliver a baby. But don’t worry – they gave the table an extra hard wipe with the paper towels, so everything should be really, really clean.

Great posting. The patient/victim appears to be biting the sleeve of his shirt. I wonder if they used lidocaine before excising? That had to hurt. Now, this kind of pus video is an informative procedure. For some reason I don’t enjoy watching animals being drained–but humans are interesting. I believe the doctor(?) said come back in 7 days–I wonder how this procedure was finished? Good work in finding this video. Thank you for the posting.

I’ve often wondered how people even get infections like this, but now I think I know. This guy probably laid on that same exam table a few months ago. The doc acts like he doesn’t care about the germs or the mess. Staph is VERY contagious. The table should have been covered and they should have had a bed pan there or something to catch all of that.

Great GREAT find, HS :) I had my co-worker translate a little bit of it as the participants are Portuguese not Mexican. But anyway, basically it said, this man in the video was/is an athelete and he has to build his muscles up….therefore he was injecting the creatine into his arm. The usual dosage is 100mg, however he was taking 5g of it. So his muscles were absorbing it like a sponge but taking that much of it, is what caused his arm to spill out all that goo. EW! :)

not hard to see how that stuff spreads in hospitals is it…
not only should there be a pan but a fluid resistant paper sheet, and some sort of an absorbent towel too because he could have other breaks in his own skin that will be infected by sitting in that disgusting soup.
that is a new thing in the world btw, many doctors are stumped and never saw it before

Some of the best pus videos come from the uncleanliness of Third World countries, obese people unable to clean themselves fully, and those with a lot of tattoos and piercings! Keep up the good work folks!

I’ve been coming to this site for a while now and have never posted a comment before but I had to delurk to comment on this video and what a gem it really is. It just kept oozing and oozing! That must have been agony to walk around with all that stuff in his arm. I hope it healed nicely but if it acts up again I want to see more!

Nice pus vid! but I have to ask what everyone else is. “Where is the freaking try” in this guys case they could have hung his arm off the table and used a bucket.
But you can tell by the dirty wall behind the table that clean-up may not be a top priority.

This was a great post and a real eye opener, looks like there were in the kitchen of a nasty restaurant, The Doctor used a razor blade to cut the dude. it’s like a previous poster said, wouldn’t be common sence to have used a tray to catch the pus/gunk, I mean REALLY??
all this being said I lover the post.

I was so horrified at the filthy conditions of the room and the fact that they let the pus stream out onto the exam table that I could barely focus on the video the first time I saw it. I had to laugh when they were opening the package of gauze. Why bother with sterile gauze sponges when you let them touch the exam table and then wipe them over the wound? Why not use some dirty tissues or your sleeve? UGH!

Thanks for the translation. This was probably filmed in Brazil. Creatine is a natural substance, but it’s also a supplement that a lot of athletes use to bulk up. I also wonder if this guy had compartment syndrome from the creatine and working out. If you let it go long enough tissue necrosis occurs. I don’t know if that happened here, but that was one helluva infection.

Thanks for posting this. It was horrifying and fascinating all at the same time. Oh, and if I ever start talking about wanting to go to a third world country, someone please shoot me, okay?

Here is a (bad) translation from BabelFish, from the Portuguese on YouTube about what is happening. Basically, this kid blew his kidneys out by taking a “supplement” (steroids??) to build up muscle. Here’s part of what the doc has to say about it – muddle through:

“Some studies suggest that high doses of chromium can cause renal bankruptcy. What it practically means to give good bye to its kidneys. Not because of the creatina, and yes because of the chromium excess, that is clearly. Other studies bring evidences of possible damages to the DNA. Serious thing. Although not to have nothing conclusive, the mere possibility already asks for caution.”

Don’t take steroids or ingest heavy metals such as chromium (you might remember this element from the movie “Erin Brockovich”).

One or more of your organs will inevitably fail, and if you’re lucky, you get to be the daily feature here, on Pop That Zit ….OR Whatever It Is! Just pop it!!! YEAH!
