That person needs to be in a hospital. That could have come from a number of things…some even contagious. Why in the world would someone let things get that bad?!

Hey mother eruption, I don’t think that is a pressure sore- it looks like the opening around it in the skin is very smooth, which is more typical of an incision than a sore. In my experience this looks more like a seriously infected incision (possibly a removal of a tumor or growth) gone bad. May have been a “home removal”.

But that’s just me. It could be something completely different for all I know.

It very well may have G. R. girl, those home removals can be dangerous, especially if someone has underlying health issues. I’ve got 25 yrs. in L.T.C. doing care plans for our diabetic and immune def. residents. There is so much out there we can’t even touch. I think its frightening what years of overuse of meds. and txtments. have done for us. I miss cybersharque too his/her? opinion seemed very informed.
