That’s a sebaceous cyst that got exposed to the air and dried out and turned brown. You can see the sac. The little brown mark next to it is probably a punctum. Thats’s the central pore that tethers the cyst to the top layer of skin.

Looked like more layers of the sac to me, too and wondered about the brown spot to the right if it was a blackhead or maybe a mole or dark spots if this was a senior patient. I do wish they had shown the doc cut that open…Great Find!!!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First glance, looked like a huge deer tick buried under the skin. Wonder where it was on the body. Had to be on the back where they couldn’t see it.
