When I was about 7 years old, my mom tried the coke bottle trick on a small boil on my dad’s arm. I was totally fascinated (it may have even helped to start my zit infatuation)…until he went to the hospital the next day with and infection and had to spent a week there on IV antibiotics. It must have been a pretty hefty infection. Needless to say, I am very frightened to try this technique now

I was using this technique 20 yrs. ago,with an old glass soda bottle, a few differences. I threw the clean bottle into a pan of very hot water on the stove. Careful not to burn you or them, hotter the better. place the opening over the area in a few tics there should be a fabulous blast! If not it’ll bring the goo closer to the surface for another day. Anyone remember Christopher’s cyst,!-3? Looked like they were using a soda bottle. A nice little plus is it contains alot of stink! The glass bottles are getting scarce though. Good job guys, new twist on an old trick…

I was doing this 20 yrs. ago, few differences. The old soda bottles made of glass are the best. Drop it into a pot of very hot water to heat up the glass hotter the better, watch out and don’t burn the popee.handle the bottle with a towel, bottle will be hot to touch. Place the opening over the area to be busted. Heat should create a suction effect and depending on the size, there should be splatter all over the bottle. If not, it sure aids in bringing crap closer to surface. ( remember Christopher’s boil parts 1-3? Looked like he was using a soda bottle) If it was a larger sore we all shoulda seen a good glob of goo, it is a good technique. btw The old glass bottles are getting scarce.
