Oh yeah, that looked rather unpleasant. Especially with them suctioning out from inside the mouth as well… That’s why you always gotta get those chompers checked out

he must have been under anesthetic for that procedure. i mean you’ve got the dentist drilling, digging and scraping in his mouth and then the other folks cutting, squishing and stabbing the goop out.
i had an abcessed upper tooth a couple years back, i did not swell quite like that and the doc just put me on antibiotics. then one evening it was driving me mad and i gave a wee push from the outside and the crud exploded into my mouth. it was awful and stunk really bad. after that happened, the pain just stopped. went back to the dentist and he pulled the tooth anyway. he almost had to sit on me and brace himself to get the sucker out. the roots were flippin’ enormous!

Nice video, but I’m glad I live in the USA! I once had post-operation infection myself — after a molar extraction. The doctor fixed the infection by draining the pus from the INSIDE of my mouth (sucking it out via a dental spit sucker) instead of cutting through the OUTSIDE of my face.
He was pretty chatty and told me that he sucked out 2 ounces of pus. Yikes. And he also said that he could have cut though the outside of my face instead, or I could have treated it it by myself via an external heating pad and eventually the pus would travel to the outside of my cheek and pop like a zit. Not that he was recommending draining it that way — quite the reverse. Thank heavens. Like I need a scar on my face from getting a tooth infection drained? No thank you!
That sucker must have hurt like hell. I’m not impressed with the “draining” technique. There was so much more in there, if he’d just have pushed the outer margins. You could tell there was more in there. I predict this fellow will be back for more.
