For those of you who are newer to PopThatZit, Steven has become a friend and constant contributor to the site, chronicling his long battle with Dissecting Scalp Cellulitis. After a hiatus, here he is again, sharing some more scalp pus squeezing to drain some of the tender spots on his head. Here is the other [...]

~ ~ UPDATE ~ ~ Friday, 05-11-2012: Nana is still in the hospital. She has had 5 units of blood and is on 4 different antibiotics. She had gone septic, and the hematoma isn’t going down so she is most likely going to need surgery to remove it before she can get any better. Her [...]

“Charlotte’s Story” The worst set of plantar warts I’ve ever seen. Video is first of a series (about 20 parts). It’s from a British TV show called “Embarrassing Bodies.” Educational AND gross. This poor kid actually has part of her immune system missing! She has to have a bone marrow transplant to permanently fix the [...]

Ho-hum, an ordinary submandib lesion. Though I was never one to pack this kind of lesion; my training was to insert a penrose drain and pack only after 72 h. without patent flows of material. I am not saying this is wrong, just not the usual practice in the USA.
I was sure this vid was already on this site… but I couldn’t find it under face zits… I hope the videos are organized a bit better on the new site because many aren’t in the correct place and a LOT are missing…
ELKmoronnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!! I am a nurse and I will tell everyone, they did not drain this abscess enough and then to pack it half-way with black zit? no, just kiddin’ I don’t know, must be the Indian form of betadine, who knows, but God, I thank God every day I live in America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
aimee0526 what’s your deal calling me a moron? I just found it online and was trying to share it….
I am in America and not in India (I am not of oriental origin)… And lets keep “God” out of this conversation.
Roar. Hot.
Well I found it interesting and appreciate you elkemorrow for putting it on this site. Thank you. It’s only flaw? Not long enough. Otherwise I loved it!
elkmorrow, i’m sorry, didn’t mean any thing by my comment. i have a sick sense of humor. PEACE, dude. REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AIMEE
PPM: I thought you had left us. You were pretty mad the last time I saw your post.
Ya know, I assume these folks perform surgery for a living, rather than say as a once-a-month volunteer gig… so, you might expect some sort of say, gauze, or other “pus catching device’ to be in place before the cutting and release of said pus occurs. One might also expect the pus to be excavated in its entirety prior to stuffing and closing. Hmmm. What “med school” have these fine “doctors” and “nurses” attended? The two-hour-new-hire-training-video? Or perhaps the “click a career/call now”? They seem to possess the same mannerism of one who has just accomplished one’s first to-go order.
That jaw is awfully swollen, could be some cellulitis in the tissue around that abscess. Poor thing bet theres alot of pain.
Thank You, Come again!
A little herky-jerky, but what a lotta pus!!
Holy crap! Great pus- but something about the infection-in-the-mouth thing being so bad that they gotta get it out via the OUTSIDE of the head that just grosses me….yowza
What a gusher! And into my favs! Thank you.
And also thanks to Pick_That_Puppy for his comment: “Thank You, Come again!”
