~ ~ UPDATE ~ ~ Friday, 05-11-2012: Nana is still in the hospital. She has had 5 units of blood and is on 4 different antibiotics. She had gone septic, and the hematoma isn’t going down so she is most likely going to need surgery to remove it before she can get any better. Her [...]

“Charlotte’s Story” The worst set of plantar warts I’ve ever seen. Video is first of a series (about 20 parts). It’s from a British TV show called “Embarrassing Bodies.” Educational AND gross. This poor kid actually has part of her immune system missing! She has to have a bone marrow transplant to permanently fix the [...]

man thats one tough kid!! Glad they took care of this before it became something worse!!!
poor little guy.. i know how bad this hurts… hes a trooper
I love how there’s talk during the video of not breathing in the germs, and the nurse is so careful with the gloves and all. Then she touches the kid’s shirts when she pulls it down. Gee, let’s spread that nasty infection around a bit more.
it’s already on his shirt ..he’s wearing it lol
awww poor kid… and his face is priceless, hes looking at the doc like, im gonna hurt u if u dont stop!
FFS ! Mom put down the cam and comfort your child .
Uh, concrete, if you had read the YouTube comments you would know that this kid’s BROTHER is the videographer, not the Mom.
take a chill pill PPM……and NO……this is NOT a repost-
I’ve not addressed you, fetish, and I believe I told you once to leave me alone.
Poor Baby. My son would have so lost it and would have kicked the doc’s butt. But he is also fascinated by pus and gross stuff. Especially brains… he’s just five… Someday he’s gonna love this site.
Not a prob……..I’ll leave you alone while you continue to zit on everyone else……hope that works out for you-
What a little trooper! I hate seeing babies cry, especially little boys. (I have two of my own and that’s the way I wanted it.) Little girls are much quicker to wine, scream, & cry. This is not to say I don’t love all children, I am just partial to boys. The way his little lips tremble makes me want to pick him up and comfort him. I know what a hard time the mommy’s having watching him in pain but she is doing a great job. I hope everything is better now and the little man and his family are doing well.
poor kid. I hope he is better now.
Oh my, I am so proud of this little man!
He did FABULOUSLY!
And his mother wasn’t the one holding the camera, if you payed more attention, the voice closest to the camera only spoke once, and it sounded like a brother, talking about a dora sticker. thank you.
Poor kid.
Had to turn off the sound, I thought I was going to cry. Looks like they could have given him a little something to make him more comfortable. He is so little and you know that had to hurt like hell….
Fetish… you are a crude, rude person that I didn’t do ANYTHING to. I never even singled YOU out! You took it upon yourself to start this thing. Glad it is finished and mind your own business… this goes for all the other people on here… leave THEM alone, too.
Aaaaanyway,,,,,,,,
Oh, that poor baby! I’m so glad he turned out ok…..
Ahhh, Mom said “the kid already had a problem spot on his leg”. What a puss-y future this youngster has with this web site!
A star is born.
Uh PPM watched it on this site didn’t bother with the comments on youtube all I seen was a film of a lil guy who looked alone while someone filmed . I don’t have all day to probe the origins of every vid .
Oh man, poor thing. He has to deal with one on his tummy and he had one on his leg? That mrsa stuff is scary.
And another fascinated cyst-watcher is born!
poor baby…..seems he had several infected places…
It looks to me like maybe it wasn’t thoroughly drained.
I like many others hardly ever use volume watching these vids so i missed the voice thing plus i made sure the volume was off ! I didn’t want to hear him cry poor lil bugger !
Trust me she won’t zit on me much . I love how her first thing she ever says to me has shouting in it . Nice manners !
They need to put this kid under and do it right! Chances are he’ll be back because they’re doing a half assed job!
AWWW poor bebe!!! It didnt look like they got all of it out….I hope he never has to suffer with one of those again…
The doctor should have sedated that poor child and numbed the area, because there is no way that she got all that pus out…..you could tell there was a lot left in there…..poor little honey
I had to turn off the sound–poor child–he needed to be sedated–and he previously had one on his leg (?)–well no points for the doctor–mega points for the little boy and the video–MSRA is not to be messed with. The doctor made a good point when she said washing hands, but the poor little boy–I am freaked out by the medical care he didn’t seem to get. I can’t watch kids or animals being hurt–I can’t watch animal pus video’s at all.
Poor little fella, I had to pop one on my grand daughter’s private area when she was about 18 months old that was about 4 times the size of that because her good for nothing mother let her sit in her own filth for God knows how long for God knows how many days. It was so bad my baby grand daughter couldn’t move. It was horrid for her and she was in so much pain, this little guy is a trooper for sure.
P.S. I went to court and got custody of my grand baby, worthless mother of hers be damned!
Thank god for that, Poppy.
I feel for this poor little baby, almost brought me to tears hearing him cry.
My little sister had a cyst on her bum due to her diaper when she was a baby, we never let her sit in her own mess, ever, and I remember how horrible it was trying to pop it… She screamed, I cried, my mom cried, it was horrendous
Awwww, my heart goes out to this precious little boy. What a brave little fella he is. I see this video was made quite some time ago. I hope he is doing well now. My husband had a staph infection in his leg and I had to pack it every day when he was discharged from the hospital. He was in a lot of pain. I can’t imagine what this little guy went through after seeing how much it hurt a grown man.
As for not being able to “catch” staph by breathing it. I did. I got MRSA in my lung and the doctor told me it had more than likely been colonizing in my sinuses since my husbands staph 8 months before. I was very careful, using sterile technique, etc. Perhaps I had a low resistance since I had lung cancer and have only one lung, and that made it easier for me to “catch.” I was hospitalized for 10 days.
Aww, you can get staph (all kinds including MRSA) ANYWHERE in your body, especially one it gets into your bloodstream. I knew of a family whose small child got it, and it traveled to the brain leaving the child with very severe deficits. It is one NASTY bug.
I keep wanting to hear the kid say, “zit, cut it out”….
I do not understand, he is not anesthetized the boy?
this is not a doctor?….. ziting zit! poor little boy
I feel terrible for that little boy, I’m just glad he made a full recovery. Thanks for the post PPM.
Jesus, the trick here is to press hard and fast so you get most of it out in one push.
Kids like this will cry for the smallest thing and most of the time its the whole “hospital thing” that is the scariest.
So just press hard and fast!!
I can watch alot of things, but seeing a kid in pain really gets to me, Hope this kid is doing better, and has gotten rid of his MRSA. DwS
I realize that giving him a few shots to get lidocaine in probably would have been worse, but there had to be something that could have been done.
I started to go off on a well-deserved but overall inappropriate rant here about the medical community at large and their views on pain. However, I’ll spare everyone that and just say that when kids are involved, anti-pain measures need to be doubly considered.
I know for a fact there is a topical that numbs the skin completely – it’s used for people that have a true phobia of needles. If they’d used that, they could have probably not let the little boy see the needle and get some lidocaine to help. And even if they’d just used the topical, it would have helped *some*.
Ughh. Scenes like this make me so mad. I hope he’s okay and doesn’t have to go through more of these.
that mother makes me focking sick she should be ashamed of herself recording her baby getting an infection out sick bit*h…she and what ever other family member was in there should have been comforting him poor lil guy i would have socked them in the face if i was that nurse..ugggggg…this video actually pissed me off…
Poor kid… But he did that well… Glad that they got it checked on time… The nurse was awesome with the kid end very gentle… Hope he better naw…:)
Wow. Little man was a trooper!
Poor little tyke. It’s a shame they couldn’t spare him a little gas or a baby valium to calm his nerves
So he’d already had one on his leg, and was it my imagination or did his navel look like it could turn funky if not cleaned properly?
WHAT A SWEET LITTLE BOY AND I AM SURE GLAD THEY GOT IT BEFORE IT BECAME REALLY INFECTED.
