omg omg omg i have the coolest bird story when i lived in florida i bought two parakeets one was super skinny missing an eye cuz the other birds attacked him at pet store and poked his eye out i told the store owner i wanted that bird store owner said but he only has one eye are you sure i said yes i named him popeye i then picked out a second parakeet so popeye wouldn’t be lonely it was a super chubby bird female that i named pudgy lol….well popeye was always eating and pudgy barely ate but kept getting bigger and bigger with her weight after a month of having pudgy i came home from work and pudgy was dead and popeye was hella depressed his female buddy died i brought the dead bird pudgy in to vet to see what the cause of death was i was assuming it was a tumar cuz of her getting bigger and bigger nope i was wrong she was actually pregnant and had an egg impaction i had no clue female birds could die from that the vet told me female birds die alot because of that….so i went home and put her in a lil grave i made for her and kept watching my sweet popeye go into a deeper and deeper depression so i did what i thought would make him happy yes he only had one eye, but he could fly they don’t clip wings in some of the pet stores so i went outside opened the cage and set popeye free…i know probably sounds wrong but i lived in florida where parakeets flew all over the place so off went popeye with a quickness he flew away….sorry this video just made me think of my birds and this video is amazing how the vet fixed the birds eye rite up couldn’t believe all the junk the vet took out but it had unbelievable results thank you Emilbus20 for the post smooches hugs and audie bear loves

Poor little parrot probably did’nt know what was going on. I hope he got better so they can take that thing off of his neck. Thanks for the post Emilbus20.

I’ve got 10 birds and would hate to see this happen to any of them. (Would like to remove the squawk box out of a couple of them). Birds are delicate animals. Glad to see that this one recovered well.
