The song was written by Randy Newman, an oldie but goodie. I think it’s called You Can Leave Your Hat On. It almost sounds like Joe Cocker singing it though.

I googled the song and it was in the final scene of “The Full Monty.” Randy Newman wrote it, but Tom Jones performed it.
Ok…he may have thought he was sexy (must be the medication he is on) but he sure was a wussy when it came to squeezing that and he had skinny arms and legs. I’ve seen more meat on a fried chicken leg.

Actually, SnapCracklePop, I must be the oldest one here! I can’t believe no one here remembers Joe Cocker singing that song in the movie “9 1/2 Weeks” (1986) during the love/sex/food scene between Mickey Rourke and Kim Basinger! Yes, Randy Newman wrote it, and Tom Jones may have performed it, but obviously very insignificantly and probably later on at one of his random concerts–not in any movie or anything. Then in 1997 they used the song again for The Full Monty.
I remember the scene very well, I just don’t remember the song playing in it. But don’t worry, I’m no spring chicken. I had Randy Newman (and many others) on 8 track. lol
