I hope you’re wrong, but I’m not willing to be on it. :) I know it’s not as good as a zit video, but at least it’s something new.

I wish they didn’t film this stuff in vet offices. I’m not saying they are treating the animal badly, but it just bothers me. Poor cat. :( Hope it was okay and has healed up since then!

I’ll bet that the abcess was caused by the bite of another cat.

my cat gets bites and scratches around his ears and neck all the tme, this is just a classic fighting wound gone bad- if your cats been in a fight, play it safe and get him some antibiotics.

why would you think she killed it? all anesthetised cats are that pliable. and that much blood return on an abcess that size being drained is usually a good thing.

Cats get abscesses really easily. Mine got one on her tail after being bitten by a neighbor’s cat. Poor thing was in so much pain. It broke open in the cat carrier on the ride to the vet’s office. The smell was pretty bad.

I bet the Thai restuarant will use this as an excuse to ask for a lower price for that cat.

My dog had an abcess on his neck after he was attacked and bitten by another dog. His poor neck was huge.

Brown Monkey, that’s disgusting. Cats that are under anesthesia are really flexible like shown in the video. Cats can even be that limp when they are in a “dead” sleep.

for all you people who think its dead, look at its legs, it has a steady drip IV taped to its legs, so it dosent need a gas mask. those are bandages for the IV, not 80s leg warmers.

Darn these companies like Neutrogena, Proactiv, and Clearasil. Telling everyone how to take good care of their skin. They are reducing us to watching cat and cow pus videos. I NEED TO SEE BLACKHEADS BEING EXPELLED FROM SOMEONE’S FACE!!!

My hats off to Dr. Baker. She was cool enough to let this be filmed. I am sure the owner of the cat was present or perhaps filming the vid. My vet would not of let me do so if that happened to one of my two kitties. It seems as if the owner of the cat is probably good friends with the vet. This is normal procedure for an abecess and a cat is put under so that they do not become frightened as they would first with the shaver noise and then the pain of having it lanced. Good job Dr. Baker and kitty!!!

I hope the kitty felt much better after this. I liked it when the lady said “Are you ready for the pus parade?” hahaha!
