~ ~ UPDATE ~ ~ Friday, 05-11-2012: Nana is still in the hospital. She has had 5 units of blood and is on 4 different antibiotics. She had gone septic, and the hematoma isn’t going down so she is most likely going to need surgery to remove it before she can get any better. Her [...]

“Charlotte’s Story” The worst set of plantar warts I’ve ever seen. Video is first of a series (about 20 parts). It’s from a British TV show called “Embarrassing Bodies.” Educational AND gross. I’ve had an ingrown toe infected, a little ingrown hair infected, and neither were fun (skin gets hot like a micro-fever in there), and the slightest touch hurts like f***. So… how do you eat when you don’t want that tongue lump touched?
is this common with the tongue piercings? i’ve seen LOTS of tongue piercings but haven’t seen this yet. that will feel really weird when that gets removed. hell, i’d hate to see what an infection looks like with the modifiers who get their ZIT split in two.
that thing on the tongue is something that begins with an M… can’t remember the right word. I think we have a video oh here somewhere of removing one from the lip after a lip piercing. These things happen with piercings.
I think that is what is on the tongue… that or some kind of weird scar tissue.
it says under the picture that they are keloids…isn’t that the buildup of scar tissue? and y’all would have loved my tongue piercing 10 years ago when it got infected with green and yellow pus….damn it was nasty and hard as hell to eat!
A keloid is a scar, not a pimple. I had to have 2 piercings removed from my ear because they came up in large keloids. They were solid tissue, there was no goo to come out of them; I even pierced them with a pin to try and get rid of them. They eventually went after a few weeks.
Double trouble!
