~ ~ UPDATE ~ ~ Friday, 05-11-2012: Nana is still in the hospital. She has had 5 units of blood and is on 4 different antibiotics. She had gone septic, and the hematoma isn’t going down so she is most likely going to need surgery to remove it before she can get any better. Her [...]

“Charlotte’s Story” The worst set of plantar warts I’ve ever seen. Video is first of a series (about 20 parts). It’s from a British TV show called “Embarrassing Bodies.” Educational AND gross. This poor kid actually has part of her immune system missing! She has to have a bone marrow transplant to permanently fix the [...]

unanswered questions. Is it a burn scar? Why does it keep getting infected; would antibiotics help? Great ooze!
I got this from youtube.
I have a strange defect in my skin and that results in spontaneius growth of scar-tissue all over my body. And the scartissue cells stay active instead of calming down what they normally do. So all my scars are still growing and are of the thick and red type; also know as keloid
The one scar that always bothers me the most is the one on my chest. Every 2 or 3 months a part of it becomes infected. Very painfull because the infection has ‘to fight’ it’s way through the scar tissue to the surface. Once it’s surfaced enough I can cut it open gently and release the filth of the infection. And that’s just exactly what his video shows…
Oh and I’ve done this so many times that nothing can go wrong. Deinfected my hands and chest, I use sterile surgecal knifes and bandages.
CystLover. Poor guy, all those spontaneous scars that just start growing must be hard to deal with.
Perhaps a ultrasound and a Surgeon can find the ‘seed’ and rid you of this affliction. All My Best
if you’re the one in the clip, why did you say you got this one from youtube? that’s perfect nonsense
If you want to see more pics of Keloids see dermis.multimedica.de and choose "K" for Keloid. @flyking138: Maybe CystLover suffers from the same anomaly like the guy in that clip?
Cystlover quoted the youtube explanation.
flyking; learn to read more carefully and closely.
@ Master flyking: that was just incredibly funny where you tried to use ” that’s perfect nonsense” as a put-down!!
Are you a Victorian Londoner who stumbled into our current time and dimension?? That would be cool. But, I think you were just trying to sound… I don’t know… erudite? snarky? Perhaps, consternated and confounded, you had to share your sheer befuddlement with the rest of us good gentlemen (surely ladies of good name and taste would not visit a smarmy site such as this)? Well, flyking the Viking, that was just darned witty of you, Sir. Oscar Wilde wants your phone number but I told him you are just too dandy to walk through the park with the likes of him… Scandalous little rumpkin!! Bloody unrefined cockamamie scoundrel… Pass the laudnum, please…. Of what were we speaking…? This post is beginning to seem utterly devoid of reason… Nonsensical one might say. Perfectly nonsensical.
