I have come to the conclusion that a pair of spark plug terminal pliers would be an even better choice. They have curved jaws that are rubber coated, and they are angled so you can still get great shots of the explosions with a camcorder!!!

The edges are too sharp, and will cut into the skin before enough force can be created to explode the zit.

A pair of flat jaw welding pliers would probably be a lot more comfortable.

I think I might invest in a pair from Harbor Freight, just in case I’m ever lucky enough to grow a pus balloon.
